International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies
The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies is an international humanitarian organization with a unique worldwide network. In their own words, it is "the world's largest humanitarian network." The International Federation exists to improve the situation of the world's most vulnerable people. The web site features information on IFRC, publications, news and more.

International Organization for Migration
As an intergovernmental body, IOM acts with its partners in the international community to: assist in meeting the operational challenges of migration; advance understanding of migration issues; encourage social and economic development through migration; and uphold the human dignity and well-being of migrants. The web site provides information on documents, data, experts, institutions, conferences, studies, legislation and other migration/related information. Information within the Migration Home Page is divided into database driven sections that help users locate the exact type of information required. The section containing information on IOM and its reports, studies and activities around the world has been recently expanded.

International Committee of the Red Cross
The ICRC acts to help all victims of war and internal violence, attempting to ensure implementation of humanitarian rules restricting armed violence. The web site provides information on Red Cross operations worldwide, its mission, philosophy and strategic operations. In addition it features issues and topics of concern to the organization and a full explanation of International Humanitarian Law, including the full texts of the Geneva Conventions. It also provides links to all of its local organizations.

Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD)
The origins of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development can be found in the Organization for European Economic Cooperation (OED), which grouped European countries around the purpose of rebuilding war-ravaged economies after World War II. Specifically, the OEEC was charged with administering United States aid, under the Marshall Plan, to reconstruct Europe. The web site features OECD activites, information, statistics, news and events, free publications and more.

OECD Development Centre
With the mandate containing these objectives, the OECD Council established the Development Centre in October 1962, less than two years after the creation of the OECD itself. The web site features information about the Development Centre; research programmes & conclusions; information press; publications & policy briefs; documentations and more.

Organization of Security and Cooperation in Europe
The web site provides general information on the OSCE, OSCE documents, press releases, news, contacts and OSCE institutions.
The Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR)
ODIHR assists the OSCE participating States to build democratic institutions and implement their human dimension commitments.

The European Community
Provides information on the EC in the languages of the EC.

The European Community Humanitarian Office (ECHO)
The European Community Humanitarian Office (ECHO) is a department of the European Commission and has the task of providing a rapid response to humanitarian crises and managing the humanitarian aid granted to non-European Union countries. The European Union is the biggest donor of humanitarian aid in the world. It operates mainly through ECHO's partners, non-governmental organizations and the specialized agencies of the United Nations. The web site features information on 1) ECHO's mandate, 2) the Madrid Declaration: Major donors' manifesto, 3) ECHO and the Member States, 4) ECHO Finances and funding sources, 5) projects that ECHO funds and more.

The World Bank
The web site provides an overview of the World Bank Group--IBRD (International Bank for Reconstruction and Development); IDA (International Development Agency); IFC (International Finance Corporation); MIGA (Multilateral Guarantee Agency); and ICSID (International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes)--their history, functions, governance, financing, and raison d'être. It describes development progress over the last 30 years and persistent global problems. It presents the solutions in terms of the World Bank's development strategy highlighting the three legs of the development stool -- human development, environmentally sustainable development, and private sector development.
