Tabyiegen A. Aboum is a senior research fellow of the University of Uppsala, Sweden. Her training includes college and post-graduate degrees from Uppsala, with advanced work in development economics and history. Currently based in Nairobi, her work experience has involved assignments with the World Council of Churches, the Sudan Council of Churches, and the Swedish International Development Authority. She has served as a research fellow at the University of Zimbabwe in Harare and is currently a facilitator for East Africa in the Southern Networks for Development.
