Neta C. Crawford is assistant professor of political science at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She is the author of Soviet Military Aircraft (1987) and coeditor, with Audie Klotz, of the forthcoming book How Sanctions Work: South Africa. She is currently doing research on normative change and world politics.
